Interior with a delicate touch of green!

Designer Sylwia Kowalczyk-Gajda faced quite a challenge. The client' s dream was to combine the influences of Oriental culture and create a place for Polish design. The most important thing was to create a dialogue between these two unique passions of the investor.

The apartment was located in the Tri-City at the Browar Gdański housing estate . The apartment is fifty square meters, in which it was important to reconcile various needs - a place for unique Polish design and elements of Eastern culture.

tailored to fit - living room

The interior is dominated by bright colors with a delicate touch of oak wood. It was important to create a space where the investor could reconcile a large number of books, travel souvenirs and other items important to her.

The living room is a place of relaxation with a gray, delicate sofa and a unique table in the shape of a turned block made in wood. Right next to it was located the dining area, which is dominated by an oak table with a simple, minimalist shape. The chairs are a unique collection of variety - all of them are united by the black color in which they were finished. An important element of this interior is also rattan, appearing, by the way, in every part of the house.

delicate kitchen green

In the kitchen an interesting procedure was decided. On the floor, part was finished with panels and part with tiles imitating stone. The lower fronts are mainly a delicate oak shade kept in a minimalist shade. On the walls you can see white, but also unusual light green, gently misted glazed tiles with a pleasant sheen. The upper fronts of the kitchen cabinets are a light gray white without any additions. Again, rattan can be seen as a radiator curtain.

bedroom a note of exoticism

The sleeping area again like the kitchen is a soft gray-green space. The bed has a headrest made of rattan, as does the front of the wardrobe closet. Next to the bed are small tables reminiscent of the one in the living room. Behind the headrest an unusual wallpaper with a motif resembling a wild green bush was used.
