Architects from the Exterio studio designed a building for a family with children called "Residence Bright." The name of the house refers to the uniform color scheme of the facade and window woodwork.

A place for everything
Residents will have more than 500 sqm of living space at their disposal. The residence is designed to provide homebuyers with both a comfortable space for daily living and a place for leisure activities, especially socializing and playing for the little ones.
- We have created a building in which the most important place is the living space located in the central part of the house. It is where the activities of all family members will be concentrated," describes architect Marcin Klukowski.

Functional division
The building was shaped on a "C" shaped floor plan . One wing of the house contains a bedroom with a bathroom and a dressing room, as well as a laundry room and a garage. The other wing was designed for children's rooms with a bathroom and dressing room, and a playroom in the form of a glazed pavilion opening onto the garden. An integral but clearly separated part of the living room is the gallery on the first floor. From it we can access the living room, gym and study.

Among the greenery
The building will be constructed on a wooded plot in a secluded area near Warsaw. Large glazing is planned on the garden side. This blurs the boundary between the interior of the house and its surroundings.
- We proposed to combine clean, austere architecture with nature. We designed a building with flat roofs and numerous terraces, the horizontal layout of which is to fit in with the arrangement of tall trees found on the plot and provide an excellent view of the surrounding nature," says the designer.
Between the two wings is the main terrace. Two more extend beyond the perimeter of the building. They provide space for a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool.

Like a modernist villa
The planes of part of the facade were emphasized by changing its structure and introducing vertical risalits. This detail is one of the main distinctive differences in the building's facade, introducing a characteristic symmetry and play of light into the aesthetics of the house. Distinctive, massive cornices, divide the body of the building into levels and emphasize its form. Thanks to the curves and bevels, it gains a diverse and dynamic character, and the cornices themselves also serve as canopies for the numerous niches and terraces located on the lower floors.
- We shaped the building as a two-story structure, with a double strip of glazing, both under the terrace canopy and above it, explains the architect from the Exterio studio.

Contrasting forms
From the front, the building has sharply defined corners. The main entrance is located in an arcade formed by the first-floor block suspended above it. On the garden side, on the other hand, the streamlined lines of the cornices and glazed balcony balustrades dominate.
