Architecture open to the inside
The form of the building was based on two cuboid blocks, which are arranged in the shape of the letter "L". Such a procedure not only organizes the interior space, dividing it into day and night parts, but also allows to isolate the courtyard, which is an intimate garden cut off from the gaze of neighbors. It is in this space that the life of the householders takes place at the interface of the interior and nature - in full light, but also with privacy.

The body of the house has been thought out to the smallest detail. From the side of the street - the western side - the house is almost completely enclosed. The western elevation has been kept to a minimum and contains only the main entrance door. Thanks to this, the building, as it were, "turns its back" to the access road, protecting the interior from noise, dust and the sight of passers-by.

The whole building, however, opens wide to the east and south - towards the garden and leisure space. From this side, the architects designed full 270 centimeter high glazing, which not only illuminates the interior with natural light, but also seamlessly connects the indoor and outdoor spaces. This impression is enhanced by the horizontal white ceiling line, which wraps around the house like the frame of a modern pavilion.

Consistency of materials: raw concrete and mature wood
The house in Józefów impresses not only with its form, but also with its material consistency. The facades are finished in two basic materials: architectural concrete with visible formwork drawing and natural wood, which will acquire a noble patina over time. These two materials - raw and warm at the same time - create a perfect balance, emphasizing the modern character of the house, but not depriving it of coziness.

Concrete was used mainly on the west side, where it also acts as an acoustic barrier. Wood, on the other hand, appears where the space opens up to the garden - creating a soft background for domestic life and integrating the block with the greenery of the plot.

Function and form in harmony
The built-up area is about 407 square meters which, with a plot of over 2500 square meters, leaves impressive space for greenery - as much as 1815 square meters is biologically active area. The functional layout of the house is based on a logical division of space: in the wing along the road is located the living zone - living room, dining room, kitchen - while the wing running parallel to the northern border of the plot houses the night zone - bedrooms, bathrooms and private rooms.

This layout provides maximum comfort and intimacy for residents. Recesses and indentations in the compact block not only model light and shadows, but also create semi-private gardens to which individual rooms have access. This is an architecture that not only protects privacy, but also builds the user's relationship with natural space.

Modern pavilion of everyday life
From the outside, the house resembles a modern pavilion - light, horizontal, immersed in greenery. Low development (the maximum height of the building is 4.05 meters) makes the house fit perfectly into the landscape of a suburban plot. At the same time, large glazing, thoughtful proportions and harmony of materials give the whole a prestigious, timeless character. The view of the pool and lounge area, garden terraces, minimalist vegetation selected for local conditions - all this creates the atmosphere of a modern villa, which does not exude glamour, but convinces with its quality and subtle elegance.
