Interior with moss pillar

05 of July '22

In this Warsaw realization of a more than 100-square-meter apartment, interior architects from the KODO studio focused primarily on creating a spacious space for the homebuyer.

The priority for this interior was to modify the layout so as to expand the living area as much as possible, including by combining the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was completely re-arranged. The important materials creating this space are wood, bark, stone and silk.

Kitchen with a green wall

The kitchen space mainly opted for a simple wooden parquet floor. The pillar was covered with green living moss, which gives the space a new character. The kitchen island is primarily a black marble slab with white veining. It was similarly resolved. The kitchen cabinetry is uniform and gray.

Toilet in gold and ochre color

In the bathroom, where the bathtub is located, the attention is primarily drawn to the marble slab placed behind the bathtub. The golden ochre glow with all kinds of veins gives this space a pleasant character. An interesting solution is that this space is not covered. The bathroom was hidden behind a glass door - allowing everything to be revealed.

The second bathroom, was solved in a close way. We find contrasting, but similar way. One of the walls is a strong, accenting red.
