Roses and marbles. Interesting interior in Warsaw

05 of September '22

The right apartment is one that has been designed for the owner. It was no different in this case. The arrangement created with the young owner in mind was designed by interior architect Iza Gemzala of the Prosty Plan studio.

The apartment of sixty square meters was located near the center of Warsaw. It was also not without changes in the spatial layout.

We eliminated the wall separating the kitchen from the living room to optically enlarge the space. In addition, we separated from the study an additional recess for a closet on the side of the hall. In the bathroom we changed the bathtub for a shower, which allowed us to use the space for a washing machine and dryer. As a result, in addition to the toilet, we also fit a bidet, which the client wanted," recalls Iza Gemzala.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, on the floor, as in the whole house, you will find herringbone laid panels. The color scheme is soft purples and dim pink. The bed headrest with vertical indentations is also kept in this color scheme. Behind it you will find a delicate quartz sinter with a marble drawing. The effect was completed by two lamps in glass shades on gold bases, which hang freely from the ceiling.

Dining room

Three chairs in varied colors are attached to it. Above the table we find an interesting lamp with white shades.

Kitchen

The dining space was separated by an openwork shelf and a small kitchen island. The kitchen fronts are kept in white colors. The part of the kitchen front, where the herringbone pattern was decided, attracts attention.

The heart of the living room is a blue corner sofa. On the wall you will find four mirrors in round frames. Next to it we will find a coffee table and a sofa. On the wall we will find small white bookcases. Next to it, on the balcony, we will find a unique BOHO-style alley with lamps, flowers and a large suspended chair.

Toilet

The small toilet is distinguished primarily by the floor. The attention is mainly drawn to the amazing bathroom cabinet. The wood here has been decorated with even milling that gives dynamics. In addition, here you will find quartz sinters with a marble character.
