Interior wrapped in wood|PdD

The premise of the project by Anita Skotniczna of the Grupa NONO was to create a calm interior for a mature person. Cozy, warm, wrapped in wood, which is associated by the investor with his hometown.

Classic duo

The characteristic elements of this project are wood and stone, which scroll throughout the interior in various forms. The apartment mainly uses warm, earthy, beige colors interspersed with cooler tones in the form of greens and grays. The colors allude to nature and, more specifically, to the mountain landscape, which brings peace and harmony. Such an atmosphere also prevails in this interior. The apartment was intended to provide both comfortable conditions for work and for relaxation in leisure time. The most important part of the living zone is the kitchen, a place for culinary experiments. The designer, Anita Skotniczna, managed to very neatly combine leisure functions with work zones.

Unusual use of wood

An interesting solution is the use of oak planks on a different plane than the floor. It is the ceiling, which was finished with dark, distinctive planks in a walnut shade. Such a solution can be found in the entrance area and above the kitchen and dining room. The ceiling leads us from the front door to the heart of the house. Another solution worth looking at is the minimalist finishing of the entire walls in the corridor and the hidden door with the same material. On the one hand, it is a beautiful, unconventional wallpaper reminiscent of rich fabric, while on the other, a wall finished with veneer board hides the bathroom behind it.

Playing with textures

The kitchen cabinet is finished with unconventional materials in monochromatic colors and expressive textures. It features heavily milled sinter, black veneer, metal, unconventional wallpaper and modern lighting. The whole is wrapped in wood and structured window decorations.

Masculine bathroom

The bathroom has a truly masculine character. It is expressive and dark. It uses richly textured tiles and an anthracite ceiling. Instead of classic cabinets over the toilet rack, here you will find a shelf and a decorative wall lamp.
