Small apartments do not have to mean compromises. On the contrary - they can become a showcase of creativity, sense of style and functionality. An example of this is the project of Studio HOKA, which transformed a 36-square-meter apartment in Warsaw's Żoliborz district into a space full of light, elegance and character - perfect for a young lawyer.
The color palette in this project was chosen extremely carefully: subdued pink, blue and natural shades of wood dominate.

History in the background - modernism with soul
The restaurant is located in a historic building from 1931, designed by prominent architect Jozef Szanajca - co-founder of the avant-garde group PRAESENS. The historical background of the building became the starting point for creating an interior that subtly combines the spirit of modernism with modern comfort and aesthetics inspired by the Parisian lifestyle - elegant but unforced, functional but full of personal expression.

New layout - new quality of everyday life
Although the square footage did not leave much margin for error, the designers managed to reorganize the apartment to maximize its potential. The kitchen was relocated and gained a central, well-lit place, and the bathroom was redesigned from scratch - comfortable, stylish and fully functional. As a result, the space has acquired a clear rhythm - the living, dining and private zones flow seamlessly into one another, creating a harmonious whole.
The Studio HOKA project shows that even a small apartment can be elegant, comfortable and tailored to the needs of the user.

Kitchen and dining room - brightness, lightness and elegance
At first glance, the kitchen captivates with its lightness and elegance. The subtle blue of the fronts with glass display cases blends perfectly with the white walls and countertop. This combination brings to mind Parisian apartments - classic, but fresh. The whole is complemented by gold details: tap, wall lamp and handles, which add nobility to the interior. The floor laid in a classic herringbone pattern of light wood brings warmth and naturalness to the interior. A wooden table and four chairs with braided seats were placed just by the large window - a simple but effective set. A vase of flowers, fresh light coming in from outside, soft shadows - all this creates an atmosphere in which one wants to sit down for morning coffee.

Living room - comfort in shades of navy blue and gold
The lounge area is an example of how coziness can go hand in hand with elegance. A navy blue sofa with soft cushions in subdued colors attracts the eye, and at the same time encourages relaxation. Above it hangs a modern lamp with several bulbs, giving the interior a somewhat artistic touch.

Next to it stands a bookcase with books and plants - practical and personal, bringing warmth and "homeliness". In the middle - two round benches with marble tops and golden legs, which are a stylish complement to the whole. Herringbone flooring connects the living room and kitchen into a coherent, visually unified space. The whole is complemented by white curtains and potted plants, emphasizing the natural, peaceful character of the interior.

Bathroom - a stylish balance between retro and modernity
Contrasts and sophisticated details rule in the bathroom. Pink tiles on the walls add softness and feminine charm to the interior, while the classic pattern of black and white rhombuses on the floor evokes the elegant interiors of the 1930s. A white cabinet with a sink, a round mirror in a gold frame and fixtures in the same color create a refined and stylish composition. Thoughtful practical solutions, such as space for a washing machine and dryer, make this small space a comfortable and fully functional home base. This is an interior that impresses with its aesthetics, but also responds to the real needs of everyday life.

A color palette that builds mood
Color consistency is one of the keys to the success of this project. Dominant colors are:
- white - optically enlarging the space and introducing lightness,
- blue - cool, elegant but soothing,
- pink - warm and soft, breaking the coldness,
- gold - as an accent of luxury and sophistication,
- natural wood - introducing coziness and balance.
The color scheme was chosen not only for aesthetics, but also for the emotions it is supposed to evoke. It is a space conducive to relaxation, concentration and daily enjoyment of living in one's own style.

When space does not limit, but inspires
Studio HOKA's project proves that even a small apartment can be elegant, comfortable and tailored to the user's needs. Thanks to a well-thought-out arrangement, skillful selection of materials and bold but harmonious color combinations, it was possible to create a space with soul - modern and yet timeless. This apartment shows that an interior can be more than just a place to live. It can be an inspiration, a story, a reflection of the owner's personality - and proof that high-end design can go hand in hand with everyday functionality.
