Silence is an invaluable comfort. Architects and designers are increasingly advising clients on what acoustic systems they should use to solve noise problems and reduce reverberation. A great example of this is a house in Wilamowice, Silesia.
Desiring, to escape from the constant noise and hustle and bustle, we hole up at home. But what if even here it is not quiet? Passing cars on the street, the sound of children playing, a neighbor listening to loud music or reverberations in large open spaces are the norm even in single-family homes. Because of it acoustic soundproofing of interiors is gaining popularity.
Investors were keen on proper soundproofing of the rooms
When planning the construction of their dream home, the investors had precise expectations. In addition to the ergonomics and functionality of the rooms, the acoustics of the new home were very important. So with the help of Michał Kościelny of the Lobo pracownia architektoniczna, they created their dream project. For the acoustic arrangement of the house, 168 pieces of free-hanging vertical ceiling tiles were used, which perfectly fit into the atmosphere of the interior, also providing adequate soundproofing. A special ceiling system in the corridor version helped reduce the large reverberation characteristic of such a building block. On the walls, meanwhile, a system composed of different thicknesses was installed to cancel out horizontal sound reflections.

Functionality and aesthetics
The investor independently supervised the construction and finishing stages of his house.
- After installing the tiles, I was delighted. Photos do not reflect their real beauty - emphasizes the owner.
The homeowners also love to listen to music. So we will finda hi-fi system here too. It was installed, selected and calibrated so that the owners can enjoy great sound quality.
