Paulina Gołaska created an arrangement that combines modernity with classically elegant elements. Despite the natural color base, there is also no lack of surprising and colorful accents.

Open space

The apartment in Zielona Góra has an area of 43 sqm. It consists of a living room connected to the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Many interesting solutions were used in the project. From the removal of partition walls from the developer's original plan to the introduction of an open space separated by glass between the living room and the bedroom. A small but cozy space was created there.

- I wanted to maximize the use of the designed space and create a casual, comfortable and open interior with colors, different shapes, and natural materials. This solution gave lightness to the whole space - says Paulina Gołaska.

Maximum use of space

The kitchen is connected to the dining room and living room. As a result, neither of these rooms is too small and everything has its place.

- The most important thing is that such a kitchen makes maximum use of the space given to it. Closed fronts to the ceiling and a high built-in on the right side, while a long worktop the width of the entire alcove, gives us an ergonomic whole, using every inch of the given space - says Paulina Gołaska.

The modern dark kitchen, complemented by wood elements, smoothly transitions to a table with chairs and a lounge area with a strong accent in the form of a brick-red sofa. Decorative stucco adds lightness and elegance to the room.

- In such an interior, it is worth remembering to introduce different layers of lighting. It is important to create the atmosphere of the space, as well as the illumination of individual elements as needed. In the case of fixed recessed fixtures, their location is also important. It is important that they are located directly above the scene we want to illuminate - adds the architect.

Soothing bedroom

Hidden behind a glass door, the bedroom is kept in creamy colors. The wallpaper on the wall behind the bed depicting cranes attracts the most attention. The piece of furniture itself also catches the eye with its striking upholstered headrest.
