The main objectives of the project were to maintain a compact, economical and energy-efficient body.

We achieved this by designing the house on a near-square plan, enclosing the house on the north side - no windows and a buffer zone in the form of auxiliary rooms. At the same time, we used the maximum opening on the south side. Here there is a terrace window as wide as 10.60 m and 2.7 m high. It is protected from excessive overheating by the overhanging eaves and the extension of the side walls.

An additional wish of the investor was to create a canopy/flower for cars within the body of the house. The condition was fulfilled by shaping the strongly protruding eaves of the roof on the north side. Its construction is simple and inexpensive in execution, while at the same time it gives a definite and original architectural expression to the whole body of the house.
