"There is a neighborhood in Warsaw that won a lucky draw in the lottery of post-war housing construction". - This is what was written about Nowy Swiat Zachód, the neighborhood where the HENDI Design apartment is located.
Exceptional location
The sentence appeared in Warsaw's weekly Stolica, after the housing development was built in the 1950s as part of investments related to the post-war reconstruction of the city. During the development, located on the corner of Swietokrzyska and Nowy Świat streets, designer Paula Stankowiak wanted the person taking the first step inside the apartment to get exactly the same impression as if they had won a lucky lottery ticket.

The main living space perfectly illustrates the character of the entire interior. It is delicate, subtle, bright and atmospheric, yet extremely elegant. Wanting to continue in the apartment the aura of coziness that prevails in the entire complex of buildings on Warecka Street, it was decided to use the soft glam style, a slightly more subdued alternative to classic glamour. Thanks to this, on a small area it was possible to create a space that is a perfect combination of warmth and class. This effect was achieved by an extremely thoughtful incorporation of the ornate gold details and tasteful accessories in muted pink into a very intelligently constructed interior base, based on white.

Bedroom
The use of gold wallpaper on the wall behind the bed gives the interior a luxurious feel. The brilliance of the gold is intensified by the light coming from the centrally located chandelier, which by its lacy design is associated with the work of an uncommon jeweler.

Bathroom
The bathroom, although small, is a coherent continuation of the other parts of the interior. The most interesting element here is the unusual gold tiles with a wavy structure, which were used as a background for a comfortable shower cubicle.
