The form of the holiday resort building was inspired by the sounds of the sea waves, which were recorded and then presented in the form of wooden discs made with CLT technology. An important element of the design was the continuation of greenery - the author used the treatment of artificial topography, which allowed to create a smooth transition between the building and the environment.

The project for the adaptation of Galeria Malta is a response to the demolition of a fifteen-year-old commercial building. The concept is based on the reuse of the existing structure and is divided into two complementary assumptions: Malta Health Center (adaptation of the gallery space) and Malta Unit (conversion of a parking lot into a residential building).


* Voting lasts until February 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. It is allowed to cast only one vote for one work participating in the voting for the Audience Award. The system allows more than one vote from the same IP to allow multiple people from the same network to vote, e.g. academic, architectural studio, etc. The allowed number of votes from one IP is 11. If more votes are cast by one person (by clearing cookies, changing IP locations, browser and session footprints, or using bots), it will result in the invalidation of such votes. In order to check the correctness of the voting mechanism, each work received one control vote from the A&B Editorial Board.
