Living area with a touch of navy blue

21 of February '23

The leitmotif of the arrangement of the house designed by Magdalena Chmiel of MC Design is the contrast between light and dark elements. It was broken with bold navy blue.

Bold combinations

The first floor is an open living area combining the kitchen, dining room and living room. Vinyl panels with a woodgrain herringbone classic pattern have been used on the floor of its entire area. The eye-catching navy blue is found on the kitchen's built-in furniture. Wood also appears throughout the house.

Navy blue kitchen

The heart of the whole house is the kitchen with an island and a breakfast bar. The countertops were made of conglomerate with a marble pattern. Lacquered furniture with an elegant frame on the fronts in gray and navy blue was complemented with gold accessories in the form of handles, hood and lamps. Owners can easily listen to music while cooking thanks to an installed radio and flush-mounted speakers that can be connected to a phone.

Dining room with a touch of pink

In the dining room there is a folding table. A wallpaper with a blue accent and a black display case were placed just behind it. Elegant chairs in dirty pink perfectly correspond with the wall decoration and the navy blue furniture in the kitchen.

Cozy living room

In the living room there is a fireplace encased in marble-patterned stoneware. Right next to it stands a RTV cabinet with a place for wood. It was important for the owners to smuggle decorative plaster imitating concrete into these elegant interiors. It found its place on the wall behind the TV in an original combination with gold slats, as well as on the staircase, where it beautifully complements the dark wood of the carpeted staircase.
